Linden -- Ruth M. Mace, 64, of Linden died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grover Perry of Rt. 1, Linden. Mrs. Mace had been bedfast for three years and ill for 33 years. She was born Nov. 26, 1897, in Boone county, daughter of Ira and Stella Williams Stanton. Her parents were both natives of Indiana. Mrs. Mace was married in Boone County to Jesse O. Mace on April 28, 1915. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Christian Church at Elizaville. Mrs. Mace had lived on a farm in Boone County for most of her married life and she lived with her children after the death of her husband in 1958. Survivors include four children, all daughters, Mrs. Irene West of Lebanon, Mrs. Jeannetta Munday of Atlanta, Ind. Bonnetha Perry of Linden and Betty Ray of Tipton; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Stanton of Waugh, and a sister, Beula H. Garrett of Pittsboro. Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Russell & Hitch Funeral Home in Lebanon. Rev. Robert Whisler will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Lebanon. Friends may call at the funeral home after Thursday.
